Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: August 2026

Shifted Stack (shiftedstack.com) participates in affiliate programs. This page explains what that means, in plain language.

What are affiliate links?

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or sign up for a service, we may receive a commission from the company — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the vendor directly.

Which programs we participate in

We currently participate in (or may participate in) affiliate programs operated by software vendors featured on this site — including SEO, AI writing, AI video, and design tools — either directly or through affiliate networks such as Impact, PartnerStack, and Rewardful. Not every link on this site is an affiliate link.

How affiliate relationships affect our content

They don’t — and here’s how we keep it that way:

  • We choose which tools to review based on reader interest and search demand, not on which vendor pays the most.
  • Every review includes weaknesses and “who should NOT buy this” guidance.
  • We recommend lower-commission (or zero-commission) tools whenever they’re the better choice for the reader.
  • Pricing and plan details are verified against official sources and dated.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR Part 255 (“Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”), we disclose our affiliate relationships prominently: every post containing affiliate links includes a disclosure statement at the top of the article.
